Do you have a heart for humanitarian work and would like to apply your skills to international development efforts? IEEE Smart Village will be hosting a workshop in Denver, Colorado on July 26 to introduce to young engineers how to become IEEE Smart Village volunteer Ambassadors.

The IEEE Smart Village volunteer Ambassador program provides modest funding in support of international travel and in-country expenses similar to a Fulbright travel grant. Co-supported by an in-country Smart Village non-government organization (NGO); assignments span from one to six months depending on the country and NGO partner needs.

Other volunteer opportunities to further the mission of the initiative by representation of Smart Village within the home country are also possible.

Come and learn about our transformative process creating immediate, life-changing impact to the world’s most remote, energy deprived populations.
